The series 'Lawman', starring John Russell and Peter Brown, ran from 1958-1962. It has a very classic western feeling to it, and anyone familiar with the genre will recognize the characters, the settings and the stories. Some might say it's full of cliches, and I wont argue about that. Those are however cliches that I happen to have a tremendous amount of affection for. To me western movies are myths about heroes and villains retold again and again. In 'Lawman' this is done through 30 minute stand alone episodes. It embraces so much I love about the genre. I find it amazing the amount of content the creators were able to fit into each episode without anything feeling rushed. This is simply storytelling on a high level. Check it out if you (like me) just can't get enough of six shooters, horses, machismo, saloons and dust.
My personal journal of some of the movies I watch. I have a sweet spot for western movies, horror, samurai flicks, 80s action and other old genre movies. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!
